Surgical Planning
Once you’ve decided to move forward with a procedure, Surgical Planning is the next crucial phase
This step is all about preparing everything for a successful surgery day and a smooth recovery, tailored specifically to you. Our team will handle the details and guide you so you feel confident and ready. Here’s how we help you plan for your surgery:

Customized Surgical Plan
Our surgeon will finalize the details of your procedure. This includes confirming exactly what will be done during surgery (for example, the specific lipo target areas or the implant size and placement). We’ll also decide on the type of anesthesia together (local, sedation, or general, depending on what’s safest and most comfortable for you). At this stage, we make sure all your remaining questions about the procedure itself are answered, and you’ll sign the necessary consent forms once you’re fully informed.
Pre-Operative Instructions
You will receive a clear list of do’s and don’ts for the days or weeks leading up to your surgery. For instance, we may require some lab tests or a medical clearance from a physician to ensure you’re in good shape for anesthesia. We’ll ask you to avoid certain medications or supplements that can increase bleeding (we provide a list), and if you smoke, you’ll need to stop smoking a few weeks prior to surgery (this is very important for healing!). We’ll also give you tips on preparing your home for aftercare – like having a recovery area with pillows, any compression garments, and medications ready
Logistics & Support
Our staff will coordinate all the practical details. If you’re local, we’ll arrange your hospital or clinic check-in time and make sure you know when to start fasting before surgery (usually the night before for general anesthesia). If you’re traveling from abroad, we assist with recommendations for nearby accommodations and even airport pickup services if needed. We can help you arrange a comfortable place to recover (some patients choose a recovery retreat or hotel, and we can advise on those). We aim to eliminate stress by making sure travel and lodging are sorted out in advance. We will also schedule a pre-op appointment (often the day before surgery) to go over final details face-to-face, review your lab results, and make sure all your paperwork is in order.
